  • I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, which is a professional license and training to work with individuals, couples, and families across the lifespan. My work is client centered, with a primary base of meeting each individual where they are at in their own journey. The relationship between the client and therapist is essential in the work we are doing together. My foundation is through family systems and an attachment lens, meaning that I view early childhood relationships as the building blocks for how we see ourselves and the world in adulthood. I am a trained practitioner of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to assist in processing of trauma. I also have a Board Certification in Art Therapy and often work with clients through the art modality as a means of processing emotions and working towards healing. I integrate other evidence-based practices into my work with clients as appropriate, including Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) training, Parent Management Training (PMT), Habit Response Training, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy.

  • Many people feel apprehensive when coming into therapy for the first time. It is my job to support you in identifying goals you would like to work on, be a part of your journey, and keep us on track. Therapy provides a space to have a supportive person to talk to and work through challenges. Some reasons that people choose to come to therapy include anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief and loss, relationship challenges, parenting and working through past traumatic experiences. I offer a free 15 minute consultation to discuss the process and allow us to to see if it is a good fit.

  • Insurance: I am an out-of-network provider for PPO insurance plans. I am able to provide a superbill to you after each session, which you can submit to your insurance for partial/full reimbursement, depending on your benefits.
